Hello everyone and welcome to my blog! 🙂

My name is Dhanusha Dhoorgalu and most people just call me “Dee.” I was born and raised in Durban but I currently live in Cape Town. Prior to this, I lived in Arlington which is in Virginia, about 5 kilometers outside of Washington D.C. (people that know me, know this, because I don’t stop speaking about it!)
I am just your average brown girl completely obsessed with make up, music, travelling and saving the animals! Yes, I am vegetarian, have been for more than 12 years. I am currently a student, probably will be for the rest of my life, who knows. Life is a challenge, especially for a lazy perfectionist who wants to partake of everything fun.
Well enough about me, let’s get down to what this blog is for. A few people actually asked me for make up lessons(this is not bragging), while I am not a make up artist, I have learned a lot over the last 2 years and decided that I wanted to start a blog and eventually a YouTube channel. This is for everyone who struggles like me to find products that match medium-dark skin tones and just general reviews of local and international products.
While I can talk about make up for hours, I can talk about music and food and travel the same. Let’s not forget the existential crisis I face every day, you might even find a post about that too! Hence, I named the blog after me, it did help that my name is unique and wasn’t taken on any platform(bonus!), to incorporate everything that I love, that makes me me.
Some facts about me include: I am left handed as if I am not weird enough, I am part of 10% of the entire population. My hand writing is really neat that’s why I didn’t become a doctor. The things I hate are milk(anything that tastes like it too like cream) and bad music. So bring on the strong black coffee and the occasional black tea. I am a maths and science fan, I never had a love for the languages besides Shakespeare 😉 Don’t ask me about economics or politics, I’m too busy gazing at the stars, besides the funny memes about politicians, those I love. I once went on kind of a pilgrimage to Andhra Pradesh, India and spent a month there including Christmas and New Year. I am OCD about many things from germs to spelling and grammar. If I made an error here,  you can tell me 😛 My sarcasm is at the point where I don’t even know if I am kidding or not. I am definitely a chatty, adventurous person who has jumped out of a plane! But moreover, I am a weirdo through and through. My other nickname is “Alien” you can figure out why…
