It feels good to be back! I took a month-long break from blogging for my final exams but I have been testing out products and going to events, so do not despair there is a lot of content coming your way. Today is my final exam and Black Flyday… Nope, not a typo! Travelstart, a leading online travel agency in Africa have some super special flight deals lined up.
All through this year I could dream of traveling somewhere, unfortunately, I did not have the time or the money for it. This is highly frustrating(for first world problems) when you usually travel at least a couple times a year.(I was permanently employed now I am a full-time student). I guess this is the price you pay for living far away from the rest of your extended family. I digress…
I saved a bit and booked a one-way ticket a couple weeks ago on sale to Johannesburg. Most of my family lives there and there are a few newly born babies of my cousins to see(Eeek!) I have been patiently waiting for flight specials to book the return flight and Travelstart have delivered! This is one of the pretty good deals(30% off Kulula) I found from Durban to Cape Town here. (I will travel from Johannesburg to Durban.)
Now if you are like me, on a student budget and still want to travel domestically or internationally, you do not want to miss this sale! Even if you’re not, who doesn’t like saving? Travelstart promised to bring the cheapest Black Friday flight offers. They actually have chosen the on-demand popular destinations and made incredible offers such as return to flights to Bali, Mauritius, and India from R3,999. SHOCKER RIGHT?!
Yes, that’s mom and I, a few years back in a tuk-tuk(auto rickshaw) in India. I have had the privilege of going to the motherland and spent Christmas as well as New Years there. A life-changing experience that I would definitely recommend. Every place I have traveled to taught me something new and helped me grow.
Even if I do not purchase any tangible goodies this Black Friday, a flight to see my family and friends are all I want for Christmas. I get to have My aunts’ famous pasta recipe actually made by my aunt. I mean isn’t food what the whole festive period about? I mean family(lol). Thanks Travelstart for hooking us up. My best friend actually lives in Durban and I haven’t seen her in one and a half years and I cannot wait!
Also, don’t forget to enter their awesome Spin and win competition on their site which enters you into a draw to win great prizes. This promotion runs until 27th November so hurry! Get booking on Travelstart.
One more thing, there are additional discounts on their flight booking app, Flapp. You might want to download that right now 😛

Did I tell you about that time I almost caught feels, but then ate a pizza and got over it? Turns out I am not myself when I am hungry, but that’s a story for another time…
Catch flights not feels 🙂
Until next post,
xx Miss Dhanusha
