After 120 years in the industry, Schwarzkopf has released some new hair treatment products together with a rebranding strategy. Two of the new products are the Gliss Intense Therapy with Omegaplex and Gliss Supreme Length with micro repair lipids. Both are available as a shampoo, conditioner and hair mask.

The Gliss Intense Therapy with Omegaplex focuses on hair damage repair which Schwarzkopf accredits to routines such as flat ironing, hot blow-drying and other styling methods. The Gliss Intense Therapy promises to resolve these issues thanks to its ‘bonding plex’ technology which claims to reconstruct broken bonds within the inner hair structure to stabilise and repair hair from within.
If it’s general hair care that you’re looking for then the Gliss Supreme Length range may appeal to you more. Developed specifically for long hair care, its formula consisting of micro-repair lipids, peony essence and keratin serum claims to repair damage, reduce split ends and strengthen hair structure which in turn prevents further damage. Included in this range is the Gliss Supreme Length Treatment Mask which acts as a finishing touch after the shampoo and conditioner and requires one minute of application.

Gliss Intense Therapy with Omegaplex shampoo & Supreme Length products prices range from R52.99 to R89.00. Both of these ranges are available at leading retailers such as Clicks, Dis-Chem, Checkers and Pick ‘n Pay. The Gliss Intense Therapy really speaks to me as I blow-dry my hair quite often but I am excited to try both. Two new Schwarzkopf products will be released early next year; one of which is a treatment and the other is a very innovative product for colour treated hair.

Schwarzkopf presented the #createyourownstyle campaign to suit all different kinds of men, women and all types of hair. Be it the sophisticated corporate man or the rebel teenager, even the messy bun busy moms or the curly-haired natural women… All women and men are catered to by Schwarzkopf and that’s what stood out the most for me other than their intriguing new products.
